First Off, Thank You!

  • It means a lot that people continue to trust us to help them get better at something they're so committed to.

  • Without your support, we're not able to do what we're so passionate about and what keeps us involved in the game we all love.

Our Mission

  • We want to provide a higher level of development to hockey players in the area.

    • We're from the area, so we know what it's like to develop under the constraints of the current local hockey development system.

    • Thats why we want to provide a supplement to that system, that helps players like we were, reach their goals.

What Makes Us Different?

  • Since our programming might look different then the "camps" that you're used to, we want to explain a little bit about our mindset & philosophies, and why you should partner with us for your hockey development.

  • Our goal is to create a unique development environment where an athlete's growth is nurtured and accelerated. This is where the name Incubator came from.

  • While other camps are out there to make money, our mission is to develop players.

    • That's why all of our sessions are capped for size and depending on the size & structure of the session we will have multiple coaches on the ice.

    • These smaller more personalized groups will allow relationships to develop between coaches and athletes.

    • These relationships will lead to a better understanding of each athlete and healthy discussions between player and coach.

    • Without fully understanding the athlete, development programs end up being cookie cutter and don't adapt based on the level of the players and what they're capable of.

    • As we value the relationships we develop with the players that we work with, we take pride in being there for them year-round. If they ever have any questions, wanted us to watch some video, or needed to work on some skills we'd find time to work with them then as well.

Our Clientele

  • We want to work with a small group of passionate hockey players who have the right mindset and are committed to becoming the best player they can be.

  • We want hard workers and competitors, as well as positive thinkers and players with perseverance.

  • Players who understand that developing the mental side of their game can be just as important as the physical side.

  • They should be willing to make mistakes, ask questions and be curious enough to explore their own personal development.

  • We will challenge each athlete to not only "do" but understand why, when, and what could be done next.

Our Structure

  • We prefer our programming to  spread out and not jammed into a week or a couple of days.

  • This will help athletes with their on-ice energy level, as well as their focus at each session.

  • It also allows time for more purposeful practice of the skills we're working at on the ice, away from the rink.

On The Ice

  • We like to develop skills, movement, and sequences that are relevant to becoming a better hockey player.

  • That might sound like common sense but just to clarify we won't teach many circus skills and won't spend a ton of time on "stride" development.

  • We will work on modern skating, shooting, and puck handling techniques that will keep players effective as the game gets faster, and players get older and bigger.

  • We want to develop players that are efficient, mobile and can decelerate just as fast as they can accelerate, all while carrying a puck.

  • Those abilities lead to unpredictability and deceptiveness on the ice, allowing players to control the game.

  • Defending and checking will be taught in our drills and games to help players learn how to force turnovers and win battles in the corners.

  • Goaltenders will get 1-on-1 time with our goalie coach working on modern movement, tracking and positioning

Our Coaches

  • Since we as coaches are passionate about teaching the game we love, we're always learning and growing ourselves. This means we're always looking for ways the players we work with can separate themselves from the pack.

  • Whether it's identifying a movement a player could use to their advantage, developing a weakness that is holding them back or just talking through a struggle a player is having, it's our goal to help players get to the highest level they can.

  • If a player wants to play junior, college, or even pro, we want to provide them with the tools to be successful and leave it up to them to decide whether or not their passion for the game will take them there.

See you at the rink!
